ASCII Bill Invaders (Amiga) - RC1 now out

So as you can see, ASCII Bill Invaders is now up to RC1. I spotted a few small bugs with it, like the player lives seems to be missing on the Workbench version of ASCII invaders. But I would say the project is now 99% complete. There are a few graphics niggles which are annoying, and I have abandoned typing to fix those, simply because I cant understand why it happens. You will probably find the wrong colours in some modes. And all kinds of other random stuff. But I'm happy enough with it to release what I have made. Maybe if I get some inspiration it will be improved, but right now I feel it is as far as I want to go with it. It is not finished but it IS done, so although I hate to release stuff with small glitches, this is sometimes unavoidable, or too much of a ball-breaker to fix. As soon as a project stops being fun to develop, it is not worth carrying on.

The RC1 package comes as an HDF only. Although I will release an LHA at some point, once I know the game is stable. It may get some patches later, but for now I want to get back to my Graphics Designer, as this is 80% done, and just needs the documents, scripting and loading and saving sorting out. I had hoped to release both tools this year, but it now looks like this and my Funeral Director tool will be the only ones released in 2025.
